Lookie Me, I Got Something Published on Copyblogger

I’m not sure what the real motivation for me to write this post is, but I can assure you that it falls under one (or possibly all) of these reasons:

Reason #1 – I’ve always wanted to publish an image of a baby on my site.

Reason #2 – I’m a vigilante and want to rank for the search term “lookie me”.

Reason #3 – This morning serves as a historic event for me, as it marks the very first time that something I’ve written has been published on Copyblogger.

If you follow me on Twitter you know that I have an affinity for endurance events. You might also know that I love to write.

When asked if I had any interest in contributing to Copyblogger, it was abundantly clear that I needed to mix the two. So if you want to know how the Ironman crosses paths with today’s marketing world, keep reading.

Without further adieu, lookie me, I got something published on Copyblogger…

    What’s all that about Brian?

Brian, I am your biggest fan in Palm Beach County and hang on your every blog and tweet. Studio Press has resurrected my web design business. Now I am blogging away because you said so. But, how do I get more clients to understand the importance of blogging to generate leads, SEO, etc. .. not to mention pay me to write their blogs? Could this be an upcoming article for you to write? Thanks, Marcia

Hey Marcia – thanks so much for the email, it’s very kind of you. ;-)

As for convincing folks that blogging can increase their traffic and exposure, send them a link to this post that I wrote.

And when they tell you that they don’t have time to write, solicit your services. Show them it’s an investment into their business.

I’m not surprised it got published… A great read which was made all the better by the Brownlee brothers winning Olympic Gold and Silver for GB in the triathlon as I read it! How’s that for timing!
