Pink or Blue?
I’m having design color issues here. I need a little vote on whether my new design should have pink or blue in it?
Understand the subject matter in which I will be writing. These will include topics such as lifestyle, design, celebrities, etc - which makes me think going the trendy/New Yorky/fashionista approach for a color scheme is ok. Even if I’m a guy.
Also keep in mind that over the past 6 years I have raised over $15,000 for breast cancer. I have walked in 6 events, where the female to male ratio is literally 500:1. Some of my favorite movies include Hope Floats, the Notebook and Sweet Home Alabama.
I’m VERY secure in my manhood, this is simply a color question. Whatcha think?
There is nothing wrong with pink!
I like this theme you currently use.
I think a new one that incorporates both pink and blue would be very cool though.
No offense Brian, but this got me to fall out of my chair laughing.
Anyway, I think blue is the best, a nice subtle blue, nothing strong or outrageous.

Well for a girl I donot like pink, but looking a the picture you’ve posted, I would say go for pink!
I would say blue but Anne is right - the screen shot looks great with the pink.
I am rather fond of blue, myself…but the pink isn’t all that bad either, as long as it isn’t overdone in such a way it makes me want to claw my eyes out…same with the blue I suppose.

I liked the pink okay, but… I think something in the blue family would be better. Something like #00CCCC, sort of an aquamarine.
Looks like my “fun” side might win after all, as right now I’ve toned down the overall feel of the blog, and pink might end up being the color of choice. Trust me, I won’t overdo the color, just think it fits best with my topics, and the feel I want to give the site.
I think the pink looks great. Blue is so cold and metallic, and way overused in computer and web design. The pink has a uniqueness to it that gives the blog a fresh/hip/new feeling.
