WordPress Jobs

This morning I saw that Mark made an an official announcement on Weblog Tools Collection that they are launching a beta version of a WordPress Job Board.

I left a comment on the post, and I sincerely mean it:

Quite the good idea - my biggest hope is that people looking for WP designers do their research on the individuals contacting them for work. (i.e. checking out portfolios before negotiating deals) Otherwise you will get business/individuals upset when people they hire don’t pan out.

I think that this can be an extremely useful too, both for people looking for themes, and those looking to make them. If the job board is moderated well, it can be a huge success for both sides!

I wish the best of luck to Mark and the gang on running it - hopefully it will bring some exposure to designers who are looking to make a name for themselves.
