Webmaster Inspiration Contest
I have recently entered a Webmaster Inspiration Contest over at Earners Forum. Some of you may not know, but October is Webmaster Inspiration month - this is a month when webmasters from around the globe will be inspired to achieve.
One my best online friends is co-owner of that community and encouraged me to enter. He says that they want to paint a picture of increased earnings, quitting your day job, selling your website to make your first million, and so on.
For those of you who have the same goals as I do, this is a great community to be a part of. You can check out my entry here, (please vote for me by clicking on the “backed” button) and I encourage you to submit one as well! The contest has a lot of great prizes, and is broken down into 6 categories:
- Blog Success Story
How did your blog become the success that it is? Is it highly trafficked? Is it your sole income? - Forum Success Story
Did you grow it from scratch? Has your membership growth been exponential? Huge traffic and/or income? - Affiliate Marketing Success Story
Is it your sole income? Did you have a campaign with extraordinary ROI? Did a campaign buy you a new car? - SEO / SEM Success Story
Are you #1 for a hot keyword? I pwn Google? Did you drive huge traffic to a new site (viral, social media, organic)? - Rags to Riches Success Story
Did you go from the poor house to Trump’s mansion? Did your net worth finally move in to positive numbers? - “I Quit My Job” Success Story
Did you quit your day job due to your internet success?

Brian,
Your success story inspires me, so I “backed” you.
Good luck!
Chantel
Thanks Chantel, very much appreciated!
Brian:
Your designs are awesome. I just purchased Revolution for my personal blog (although I have no clue how to use it as of yet!) I am a public speaker and a well-known youth advocate. I run a site called Teen Web Online (www.teenwebonline.com). The site is aimed to help teens cope with life issues. With that said, maintaining it has been so difficult. More than anything, I want a layout that makes it easy to blog and provide quick access instread of the old-school Frontpage work (it makes is equally hard with multiple volunteers trying to create content). Teen Web is not a profit site; I operate it out of pocket. Would you be willing to donate a license to the Revolution News layout? I know that it is an odd request, but it would truly revolutionize Teen Web. Please see the site for more information (so you can see who I am and what we do). Thanks, again.

Backed - although the fact you’ve been doing the Wordpress thing only a year or so…I should not…. hah! Great work Brian.
