Looking for Some Feedback
Over the past few months, I have released a lot of Wordpress Themes to the public. I’ve received a great response, and wanted to ask those of you who read my blog for some feedback.
I’ve been contemplating lately opening up my blog to include more than my themes, my portfolio and more than blogging about my personal life. I’d like to add a section (or blog category) called Tips, where I would share some things that have helped me along the way. This would cover both blogging in general, as well as designing themes.
Is this something that would be of interest? Let me know…

I would be interested. You’ve already been down a path I’m trying to walk down, so any tips with regards to releasing a theme are of particular interest to me.
Randa, I figured you’d be one of the first to comment. Of course, I’d love to share with everyone some of the things that have been helpful to me. As I left on your blog, starting with the default theme is my best piece of advice off the bat. Will save you many hours of frustration!!
Great idea! I’m always looking for new blog- and theme-related tips, so would love having a place I could count on for this type of thing. Go for it!
Anything you write…I will read. Simple as that.
I don’t know why… but I agree with Jennifer =)
@ Jennifer & Rangga - so your saying that if I wrote about classical music and the state of the Middle East you’d read it?
Thanks for the support!
@ Rob - thanks man, appreciate the feedback. I’m working on developing this idea further.
Sure!
I’d definitely be interested, so count me in.
Sure, classical music can be fun. The middle east stuff would get old quick, but I am so out of that. Maybe your take on it would be interesting.
I am so easy see.
YES!!! YES!! YES!!
That would be great! I really appreciate posts like that. Learning from experience is the best way to learn. Can’t wait!
Wow, great response. Thanks everyone, and it looks like I’ll need to start adding a tips section!
I think a “tips” section would be great. I’d really like to learn more, not only about blogging and marketing strategies, but about your personal decision and journey of learning PHP, CSS and mastering wordpress & how it all came about.
Look forward to it.
Brian - I think you should expand the scope of this blog a bit. I’d love to hear more about the tools you use for creating themes and sites; your take on new products and technology; tips; and anything else you want to share with us!
Thanks Char, appreciate that! You seem to have a lot of tips, etc on your site, and that’s what I’m aiming to do.
Brian,
You’re a font of good ideas. Tips on Web design from someone of your calibre would become must-read for those of us non-designers who seek great-looking sites.

Hi Brian,
Would you mind answering my question?
1. When will you release 3 column Blue Zindafel but altering the position of sidebar to: content-sidebar1-sidebar2…
2. When will you release Silhoute to public?
3. thanks
I doubt I need to add anything, but you could probably guess that I would be in support of this too.
It would broaden your readership quite a bit too.
A tips section sound great. As someone who has learned through trial and error and building on previous knowledge I find your stuff useful and often seem to come browsing back around to see what is new and where it is going.
Thanks.
The site looks great ! Thanks for all your help ( past, present and future !)
Some articles very informative and, the design is enough not bad.
Hello! Good Site! Thanks you! obswexkfxexsb
