A WordPress Blog Design Community
I am very pleased to announce an upcoming project that I will be involved in. Michael Pollock and I will be developing a WordPress blog design community, which will be located at BlogDesign.com.
We will be offering tips, tool and tutorials on how to develop WordPress themes as well as how to use WordPress as a content management system. We will be creating “how to” series’, as well as producing video tutorials that will address some of the most common questions that we as designers are asked.
A lot of you may know of Michael from his blog design company called Solostream Webstudio. He is a very talented designer with an inspiring portfolio and has produced a lot of high quality WordPress themes for the public.
This is something that I am very excited about doing, and look forward to working with Michael on this project!

That’s a great idea! There are several bloggers who do this on their own, but a real community site is somewhat missing. I’m slowly getting into WP theme development myself, so this is very welcome.
Michael and I want to provide a place where people can learn as well as share - this is something that we are really hoping will reach people who, like yourself Redface, want to get into theme design and site development.

Thanks and I am sure this will be great. You know how hard it is to ask someone sometimes. It is good to have a blog design community. Especially is about WordPress theme and WordPress as a content management system.

I’m totally on board. Just signed up for the notification, but now that I’m thinking about it, I wonder if I didn’t sign up twice for the same thing? This was originally being called Minglefox wasn’t it? Blogdesign.com is definitely more focused. I can’t believe the domain was available!

I signed up for this, too. Not so much to learn about developing WP themes but for the tips and tricks on using it as a CMS. There is so much I don’t know re: tweaking the code, style sheets, etc. This site would be a tremendous help. Looking forward to it.
