Google Page Rank Update

As we all know, PR doesn’t really matter, but it’s pretty darn cool to see a PR7 for the Revolution site and a PR8 for my personal site..

I just noticed your unbelievable PR8 en PR7. Awesome. I just went from 0 to 4 myself in a couple of months. Thought that was pretty cool too :)

    Nice Brian! :D

    I think I’ve moved from PR1 to having a PR3, but I haven’t really looked before!…

    Thanks

    Congrats Brian,
You deserved it. With such a quality site and quality free wp-themes goodies, you definitely deserve it.

    Brian,
You deserve every PR you get, and more. Good for you, much-warranted for all you have shared with us.
After very successful media career (incl running marthastewart dot com in the first years of the internet) I recently set myself free from executive-ness early and in March found WordPress…and your themes. I am reincarnated, having a blast (and got 300,000 PVs in my first month despite my best efforts to create 404s and make smoke come out of the machine). So cute. Old dogs can learn new tricks.
    So thanks, and blessings.

Needless to say, Google killed me again!!! My personal blog Voice Of Dingchao ever had PR4, but Google killed it to PR0!!!

But I don’t think this is a cruel thing for me, because I predict there will be something replacing Google PR in the near future. I mean Google PR will be nothing at that time.

Congrats! But be careful with the PR8, it appears to be easy to lose. I had it for about a year on my website, but it was reduced to PR5 at the end of last year. Still having PR7 on several other sites without any drop, but that 8 was probably too big for me to carry. :)

(…not that I think anyone should care too much about PR, it is better to look at search engine performance for valid keywords)

Well do Brian, you have worked hard to get where you are. It goes to show that if one works hard and believes in what one is doing, and also serves the community will eventually go far. Keep it up, rock star.
