Hanging out at Starbucks and testing the Sideblog Plugin to see if it works. A very special thanks to Kates Gasis for developing such a cool thing.
Over the course of the past few weeks, I’ve been spinning my wheels with redesigning my site - for some reason the design I had wasn’t appealing to me, and I’ve decided to do something fun.
I’m calling it the Evolution Project.
I thought it would be an interesting way to redesign my site - but doing it online over the course of time for all of you to watch. This will give you a chance to see the changes take place, on a daily basis, and will also accomplish two things:
- It gives me motivation to stay on top of my redesign - knowing that thousands of eyes are watching will keep me from slacking.
- This will also show you that a simple free theme like Vertigo can be customized into hopefully a very cool website.
I’ve always enjoyed doing things outside the norm, so this isn’t any different. Hope you enjoy…
I am proud to announce that I have officially released Revolution Real Estate 1.0 theme - you can go ahead and view the live demo of the theme.
With the announcement of this new theme launch, I am happy to offer the Revolution All-Inclusive theme package for $299.95 - this offer will be available until midnight (CST) Wednesday April 9th.
Some of the features of the Real Estate theme include:
- Featured listing section, about me section and recent blog posts on the homepage
- Dropdown navigation menu
- Short contact form in the sidebar
- Page template for real estate listings
Here’s a screenshot to see what the theme looks like:

Just wanted to write a quick post to share a few things that have happened since I left town. I’m still very busy trying to catch up, so hopefully next week I’ll be back in the swing of things and will write more. Until then:
- Finally caved in and bought an iPhone, something I swore I’d never do
- Just got done updating this site to WordPress 2.5, as a test to see how it goes, before I take the time to update all of the Revolution theme demos
- I’ve been Sphered - proud to say that Sphere’s official blog is using a Revolution theme
- Continuing to brainstorm an idea I had about some sort of WordPress project, which might soon enter development
- Contemplating another idea I’ve had that involves Revolution and the possibility of expanding it in a very unique way
