Ok, I’ve made some posts recently talking about some major projects that I have been involved in, and I’m ready to announce what some of them are. Without further adieu…
Over at Performancing, I’ll be releasing another four themes, more than likely two of them will be released in May, and another two in June.
I also mentioned that I will be managing one of the most popular Wordpress themes around, and I’m proud to announce that I will be managing Cutline. In addition to a lot of other blogging properties that Splashpress Media has purchased, Chris Pearson’s famous theme is one of them. So on May 1st, I will be managing the theme, and developing some CSS styles that will be made available on the site.
Lastly, I am currently developing a website that will include my blogging on a personal level. Not only will it be a place for me to share things like my poetry, spirituality and my encounters with God, it will also host a section that I am very excited about. I am planning on taking a portion of the earnings I make with my design business, and working with a non-profit organization to help feed starving children in Africa.
More details on that to come…
Just a quick post to say that I’m back! Spent the past 5 days doing absolutely nothing but laying in the Caribbean sun, eating tons of food and not thinking about design.
Time VERY MUCH needed.
I highly recommend for everyone that feels worn out, beaten, and frazzled by their to-do lists, to just go away somewhere and leave it all behind. It was tough for me to do, but felt pretty darn good!
Last year, I spent quite a bit of time in the affiliate marketing niche, and had some success. I owe a lot of that to my friend David who is speaking at an upcoming conference called the Elite Retreat on June 8 & 9 in Orlando.
I owe a good bit to David as the advice he has given me over the past year has been awesome and has helped me achieve things I couldn’t have done on my own. With that said, I wanted to make a post to say thanks, and also to inform any bloggers or affiliate marketers about an upcoming conference called the Elite Retreat.
Check out the lineup of people that will be speaking at this conference (If I could go I would but have too much on my plate right now).
- Jeremy “Shoemoney†Schoemaker, President, Shoemoney Media Group (Online Monetization Expert)
- Lee Dodd, President, Earners Forum (Community / Forums Expert)
- Kristopher B. Jones, President, Pepperjam (Search-Engine / Affiliate Marketing Expert)
- Neil Patel, CTO, Pronet Advertising (Social Media Expert)
- David Adams, President of Adams Media LLC, CPA-Affiliates.com (CPA Expert)
While this conference comes with a price tag of $4950 a one on one consultation with any of these speakers would cost even more, but that’s what you get at the Elite Retreat; Your Questions answered, Your Websites Reviewed, They Help You Develop a Plan to Move Forward, Plus they have a 2 hour window setup for one on one time with each speaker.
Check it out @ www.eliteretreat.info.
Just thought it would be fun to do another interactive post…
Upon my return from the Caribbean, I’m excited to share that I’ll be unveiling a major theme for a pretty high profile website, will be in charge of developing a potentially big site, and also will be taking over the management of one of the most popular Wordpress Themes.
Try and guess what these are. I’ll answer back hot, cold or getting warmer!
(and for the few of you who might know the answers, don’t spoil the fun for everyone else!)
Considering last week it snowed up here in Chicago, it makes me very happy to utter these words… and to see this forecast…
Shelly and I will be leaving this Thursday for the Caribbean on a cruise - sailing out of Fort Lauderdale, heading down to Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. Mmmm, sipping pina coladas poolside, listening to the sound of Caribbean Calypso music, sun beating down…
Now I love my son Zach, but this is a trip we are taking without him - you know, for us to remember what dating was like? Thanks to my in-laws for being so awesome, and who will watch Zach while we are away!
Just getting excited about the trip, and I promise that I will try to drop a post or two while I am gone.
Pictures when I get back…
