I’ve been emailed well over a hundred times asking me if the theme that is currently on my website is available. In short, the answer is no. However, I have just released a brand new theme called Dropshadow, and you can see it on my themes page.

So for all of you who really like the theme I have on my site, here’s an early Christmas present for you. It’s different, yet similar.

I’m sure most of my diehard readers (if there are any) are amazed at the fact that I’ve gone almost a month without rebooting my site. I suppose I should call January 30th the day that the current version of my website was born.

A good friend of mine encouraged me to keep my current theme for a while, so I will. At least for another two months. This upcoming May 1st, I will be planning on participating in my first official CSS Reboot.

For those of you who don’t know what this is, the CSS Reboot is a community event for web professionals and enthusiasts. Every November 1st and May 1st at 18:00 GMT, Rebooters from all over the world launch their standards based website redesigns simultaneously; bringing traffic, interest and a little respect to their sites.

There are no prizes or arbitrary winners, just great exposure and the knowledge that we all participated in something great. So for the next two months, the design wheels in my head will be spinning. On May 1st, you can see what I came up with!

So until that day, I solemnly swear not to partake in any extra curricular design or reboot activities on my website.

You might be wondering how in the world I find time to do what I do these days. And you know what, I wonder the same thing too. Not quite sure how I manage to fit all of the things I am involved with into a 24 hour day, or a 7 day week. I guess Starbuck’s Lattes can really save a person…

Anyway, here’s a list of a few things currently on my plate this week:

  • Starting a Celebrity Blog in the next few days - this is actually replacing the Online Magazine that I had written about a few weeks ago. I’m really looking forward to this, because I am passionate about Hollywood and the Celebrity scene. Not to mention I’m a huge fan of gossip and smut.
  • Being an author over at Perfomancing - special thanks to David for only requiring 1-2 posts a week!
  • Will be releasing at least one new free Wordpress theme over at Theme Viewer.
  • Working on custom themes for paid clients - don’t worry, I have time to take on new clients!
  • Oh yeah, making time to write some good stuff for my blog here.
  • Celebrating my arrival into the Technorati Top 100 Popular Blogs List - and how to apologize to bloggers like Mark Cuban, Matt Cutts, Scobleizer, Mashable and 43 Folders whom I’ve passed on the ladder rung.
  • The usual round of husbanding and parenting that I do all the time - send Shelly flowers, get tackled by Zach as he runs across the room, and other household sorts.

I believe they call it…..Mi Vida Loca.

A few days ago I blogged about joining the writing/management team over at Performancing. Well, ladies and gentleman, I have broken the author seal over there and have published my first piece.

Here it is, the virgin post.

I’ll be blogging about various topics, mainly about Wordpress design and blog consulting, but still good stuff. It should be a fun adventure, and look forward to being a part of their team!

I was checking my Google Analytics account tonight, and noticed a nice increase in traffic since January 1st. In fact, since then, I have had over 28,000 unique visitors, with over 100,000 page views.

What I really want to know is this. How many people coming here are checking out themes vs. reading the blog.

So I’m performing a fun experiment. For those of you who frequent my site and blog, please drop me a quick comment to say hi. If you are a lurker, and normally don’t comment, here’s a fun chance for you to do it.

I’m just curious who’s who and what people read. (Truth be told, I have writer’s cramp and thought that this would be a good way to post something unusual, yet enjoyable.)
